
WOD 2/21/10
REST DAY!
Swing by the box if you are in need of a make up WOD or strength day. You can laugh at Andy and company as they tackle some wacky WOD called "The Air Force" WOD.
So again, folks knew there were some flaws in the Deadlift pix. So here's what I can add to the discussion.
Here's some new PR lifting footage from the past week. Please don't ask me about Scott's 70's Big inspired attire. I have no control over his antics....

"A challenge has been laid...
Lauren has done the unthinkable... yes, that's right...Lauren has just front squat'd 145lbs. So, the challenge is on!! Who can de-throne our Sunday Morning Powerhouse????
And by the way, as a reward for her stellar performance, Lauren partaked in a whipped cream/hard chocloate topped chocolate cupcake for her unbelieveable display of strength !! Photos to follow...
And if anyone likes cupcakes, try Baby Cakes on Jst in East Sacramento....Delicious!!! I know, it's not Paleo...but, come on...live a little!!!"

"For time:
20 Thrusters
20 Sumo deadlift high pulls
20 Push jerks
20 Overhead squats
20 Front squats
Each athlete must do four burpees at the beginning of every minute before moving on to the barbell work. The athlete is allowed to move to the next barbell skill once an he/she has completed all 20 reps. If the minute clock beeps during a repetition the athlete will complete their rep and then start their four burpees. There is a 20min cap."

"The videos and strength gains were awesome! I gotta admit I'll miss 70's big but I'm stoked for The Scott to release his "Lifting Through the Decades" DVD. A sure thing to replace rival Richard Simmon's "Sweatin' to the Oldies" atop Amazon's 'Exercise videos with glorious wardrobes' list.
