WOD 7/30/10

5 Rounds

9 DB Squat Cleans (55/35)
500m row

A grinder for sure. Full squat cleans from the floor each time. Do it - don't ask questions!

ATTENTION : Allison and I will be taking a mini-vacation this weekend and will not be able to run Monday and Tuesday morning, noon or 4 PM classes. 5 & 6 PM classes will be run as usual by Rob and Andy. A big thank you to both of them for picking up our slack!

Something Wicked this way comes...

Jeremy Marshall - This guy's a beast. I think we'll be seeing and hearing his name in the future.

"I'm not sure they make cameras with batteries that last long enough for the time this one's going to take me. What the hell- I've never been accused of being smart before so I'll give it a go unless you want me to wait for a day we have more takers and can make an event of it??"

"Here's the deal with the Centurion Crusher - It has to be witnessed by me, Crazy Ivan, or video taped and reviewed by me. It has to be LEGIT! So bring a camera with at least 45 min of recording time to be safe! This is version 2.0, so it's not going to be easy.

We all know the standards with squats and deadlifts. The bench press must be full arm extension at the top and touching the chest each rep at the bottom. The pull ups must be full arm extension at the bottom and chin over the bar on each rep. The HSPU's must be head to black flooring (not an AbMat)and full extesnion of the arm up. Notice these all say "must", not "should".

Your time will be recorded, so you must move fast, but efficiently. Don't take all day to game it either.

This is an established CFC benchmark and ANY short ROM will not be counted. I don't care how long it takes, do it correctly and make each rep count. The folks who do it as RX'd with no questions asked will get a limited T-shirt that won't be for general sale. If you're in, you buy in full - otherwise go play with your marbles until you are ready to go big!

If anyone has any questions, ask me now and we'll get it all clarified. - Ivan"

"Scott- Im not sure a bunyon is grounds to exclude you for "health reasons" and the 2 min rest between rounds is plenty of time to consume said donuts and watch SpongeBob.

Buddy- If you can manage to squeeze into your 1981 cub scout vest I will gladly accept your aid, that is of course if youre not helping any old ladies cross the street."

"And I couldn't agree more...Jeremy is a BEAST!!! Jeremy is an amazing athlete!! Besides being a firebreather, he is extremely modest about his prowess as an athlete. Great JoB!!! I think our Fight Gone Bad Men's Team should be Jon, Jeff, Trent and Jeremy. I can provide the twinkies and motivation. Does anyone second the motion?"

"I will observe from the sidelines and determine when I need to call for fire. Don't worry...I am highly trained...I was a cub scout in 1981 where I received my first-aid merit badge. My skills may be a little rusty...BUT DON'T WORRY!!!!"
