WOD 8/31/10

15m AMRAP

7   DB Thrusters (35/25)
9   DB Hang Power Clean
11 Burpees

 This is a treat.

Yesterday our neighbor in #26 decided to throw a fit about Deadlifts and music and went on a 3rd grader tirade, kicking my walls and banging around on purpose on his side of the wall. He then proceeded to find the landlord and continue his tantrum. The landlord has been great and is trying to mediate things while in full acknowledgement the neighbor is out of his tree and over reacting. I don't want issues and really don't want to make things harder on the landlord, so we need to be cognizant of our noise. That being said, from now on the first two lifting platforms are NOT for any heavy weight (135 Lbs +) that will be hitting the floor. Deadlifts, cleans, snatches, or thrusters of any consequential weight need to be moved over to the other side of the room and lighter weights can go on the first platforms. You can still use the power cage and racks for movements where the bar is going to end up on the ground, but for now dumping bars in that area is a no-no, punishable by a judo chop to the gullet. I am as serious as a heart attack in July on this one. Sorry for the inconvenience and we appreciate your understanding - Ian
